Huh? Second-best graphics card (GeForce 680) is $550 these days. Xbox 360 was $300/$400 depending which version you chose. PS3 was $500/$600 and I really can't imagine next generation being significantly more than that. Or were you talking

Until new consoles are released? It's not like Crytek is small company that no one ever heard about - they're well known, they have released games on current generations and I'm sure they have preliminary hardware of next-gens.

I really don't think this is direct response to Wii U tablet controller, and if it is - it's not a very good one. Wii U tablet has buttons and screen in one device you hold in your hands - I can't imagine constantly switching between 'tra

I think he's trying to say more or less: "boy, they sold 3 million of those without any kind of support for apps, imagine how many would they sell if they would run apps!". That said, iPhone was selling like crazy even before 2.0, so I'm no

I'm really baffled by all those people saying that they will stop using Opera if FB acquires them. I mean - okay, If they start modifying it to send your data to Facebook without way to opt-out - sure, do that. If they start showing ads in

You could have your iPhone docked in some kind of stereo system and have bazillion gigabytes of music that don't fit on iPhone, or just don't want to get up to change the music. I don't think it's used to stream to iOS devices so they can p

Why? It's not interactive, it's basically projector with cardboard cut-out playing looped video - I don't see why that would necessitate background check (that said, whole idea of background check is kind of foreign concept to me, since I

You could argue that core UX for Facebook is news feed, rather then profile pages.

Note: I listen to Talk Show only occasionally, I'm more of Hypercritical guy. So, Dan wanted an iOS app for some time now (year? more?) - and he was working with Black Pixel ( http://blackpixel.com ) on that. We don't know exactly why, but

Dan was talking about iOS app for long, long time - it was (presumably) nearly finished, but never released - app that was released recently is new project/rewrite of the old one. Now we know what happened with that version.

I don't know whether it's my Mountain Lion install, particular version of Chrome/Opera/Firefox - but there is one reason why I use Safari - its butter-smooth scrolling. Seriously, I was pretty huge Opera fanboy - but then I switched over to

It means that it's the only one that comes bundled with Office - of course you'll be able to install Office on Windows 8, but you will have to purchase it separately.

Could you please elaborate on that? I'm genuinely curious - I'm not "hardcore gamer" anymore, but I'm still fairly interested in games - but I didn't know that "professional gaming" became zero-income occupation. What happened?

First Xbox was Pentium III PC with GeForce 3 Ti, all on single board in nice (that's debatable, but I liked it.) case, yet I don't think there were more ports than there are today.

That would explain it, thanks. It seems it actually links to your facebook/twitter from your profile page, at least it does on webapp, I'm not sure how it is on mobile. I think that's wrong default and should be changed.
