I went from sea level to 11k feet in the same day many times before. I would say the altitude effect is there but not as much as you might expect. A little quicker to be out of breath a little longer to recover it. Not sure what it is like

It is trash. They took one of the most successful private companies in the history of the world and made it baghold xAI.

Going to be a circus when our only viable launch capacity is publicly traded and only looking a quarter ahead. Guess that is the end of rocket development as we know it. Hopefully academia bails us out and carries on fundamental research. T

It is pretty easy to signal stuff on linkedin without intending to do so. For example whenever I get an old coworker adding me on linkedin, they are 100% of the time job seeking. Inevitably they start a new role some weeks later. All one ha

Look at how much hair is on your skin, you aren’t meant for that. You are meant to persistent hunt game and forage in fairer weather. You are optimized for that. Everything else is compromised, swimming uphill only bailed out by happenstanc

I don’t understand what is wrong with the mouse/trackpad. 40 year old tech? I bet touchscreen tech is that old too.

On mobile you get a little 1.5” strip to read. Rest of the screen is autoplaying ads. No, I didn’t suffer through that to read the article.

I can move my cursor across my entire screen without lifting my wrist with the trackpad. It is vastly easier than tapping at a screen.

Carefully move the cursor? Come on. It is a subconcious action. How do you think people play fps games? Do you even use a mouse yourself or maybe have some physical disability that impairs you?

Apartment is no good for a cat but suddenly fine for you? It isn’t like it is in human nature to live in a shoebox either. Human nature is to live in the sahel, sleep under the stars, forage, and track game. The office and the apartment is

People make a big gripe about the potential dangers of ebikes. But honestly they aren’t what my local neighborhood teenage hooligans are using. They have straight up electric dirtbikes. They are able to pop and hold a wheelie for long dista

Most of the heavies in my industry don’t even bother with linkedin. They get plenty of applications on their career pages already I guess. Only really startups (which aren’t really hiring at all) and the occasional blast from a middle weigh
