I didn't get the impression that this article was overly critical of self-organization. Zappos seems to have had some struggles in transition, but the article still seems to end on a cautiously optimistic tone.

I haven't been able to kick the Civ habit completely, but I indulge much less frequently then I did back in college. I have told my coworkers though, if I come into work in the morning and look red-eyed and tired, its probably not beca

Yeah. I know road rage isn't rare, but some people talk about it like its normal behavior. Most people I know, including myself, don't let minor annoyances get to them like that.

The land that Chicago was built on was very swampy before it was drained. I assume thats why the oldest parts of the El system are above ground, not below.

Yeah, I also felt that it was high, but the more I think about it the more reasonable it seems. I might have missed it, but I didn't see anything about what day of the week the data was gathered from. If its a mix of both weekend and

I saw him give the same talk in Chicago, and the impression that I got was that the body he was advocating for had nothing to do with salaries. The AMA and the Bar might increase salaries by creating scarcity in their professions, but they

ISIS does not ask people to wear a hijab or grow a beard. They execute people who do not comply. The fact that Syrian Muslim refuges have the ability to avoid execution by joining ISIS is no excuse for discriminating against those who do n

This is disappointing news, as I felt like Grantland was a good one stop shop for things to read during lunch, but it was clear that it was already on its way out. Some of my favorite contributors had already left. Wesley Morris, Chris Ry

Yeah, that doesn't make sense. I dont know how Grantland was doing financially, but its unrelated to cable. In fact, things like Grantland could be viewed as diversifying away from reliance on cable viewers.

"More time drinking, more raw volume" is part of the point of a session beer. The idea is that some people want to drink at a pace where the can continue for a several hours, drinking several beers, and not end up wasted.
