definitely agree that the developing world is much faster in adopting commerce over text products. I think it's partly due to the high rates of data in India & Africa

Commerce over text also remains a largely unexplored idea. I'm glad a friend is doing http://commerce.io/

I just get them on Audible and listen to them on my drive to work. Although I do miss marking passages and taking notes on a "real" book. The bookmark feature just doesn't cut it.

That feature was really helpful during the recent Nepal earthquake as well

I'm new to US and ipso facto new to weather alerts on my phone. So the first time I saw the alert, kinda shit my pants as I had been in Andaman hours before the 2004 Tsunami

I hope this doesn't just involve cloning the same functionality in Rails and ignoring optimizations and cleverness of the actual product

Thanks for this info. I'm going to try this out. We host on rackspace and kubernetes wasn't playing well with networking on rackspace nodes.

This is a really important issue. more so because the product isn't free but charges customers. On a side note...need a name for my new company...open letters as a service

is the pricing better than imgix? Also, for as an opensource alternative, we use https://github.com/die-net/fotomat as a S3 proxy. It's very fast and scales well

glad to see convox is doing good. I'd come across one of the founders at gophercon and found the setup quite interesting

by kitwalker12 11y ago
I didn't get it either. does 15.04 provide a special or easier way of doing this. The info looks like something that could've been found on stackoverflow

this is pretty cool. Sped through some good ruby engines that I follow and learned that the first 20 commits were tests. nice way to learn programming practices.
