My personal experience for the entire time the service has been available: if I get a single ad, then I'm not signed in to the right account.

Where are you finding this "basic" plan? YouTube Premium has only a single tier that is completely ad-free. I hate Google as much as anyone, but shouldn't truth matter?

Completely untrue in the case of YouTube Premium. I literally haven't seen an ad for over a decade now.

I totally get it. That said, YouTube premium is worth every single penny and has only gained features over time; no other subscription I have comes close in terms of value.

The probability is truly, obscenely, low. If you read about a collision then you surely weren't reading about SHA256. https://crypto.stackexchange.com/questions/47809/why-havent-...

The reasoning is generally that using SizeOf implies one is doing unsafe things. Why do you need the size of something in managed code? What would you do with that information? Not that I necessarily agree with the decision myself, but that

I wouldn't exactly call it "normal", but that's partially because a lot of C# developers still don't know about the relatively new generic maths feature. Those who are familiar regularly "abuse" the system

Don't beat yourself up so much, it's challenging to the majority of developers. The article itself sums things up well "Most of the puzzles are in the realm of either string processing (somewhat applicable to programming), lo

You've sniped me and I'm going to try and tackle this over the weekend. What's the best way to exchange things for you? Also, have you explored modular multiplicative inverses at all?

What if we didn't even attempt to compress the file? Theoretically, there is a random number generator + seed combination that would output the same bytes as the source file.

Not sure if this counts, but I got tired of seeing all of the magic constants used in several of these tricks and not understanding how they were generated. Came up with the following via trial and error: static T NthFermatMask<T&g

The boustrophedonic version of Rosenberg-Strong function is my favorite because it doesn't have any such jumps and has better locality preserving qualities than most alternatives. See https://hbfs.wordpress.com/2018

Due to the nature of C# math generics, it could theoretically be any size that is supported during runtime. If I add support for 512-bit integers to the language and implement the appropriate interface, then this function should "just

The function otherwise supports all values of T, so I need a way of calculating the larger values at runtime. The hard-coded values I have right now are for demonstration/performance purposes only.

Maybe this community will be more interested/helpful? I'm REALLY trying to avoid the use of things like "BigDecimal" and just stick with word-sized values (int, uint, float, etc).

To be fair, they thought that the idea of an "everything" package was funny and claimed that they only understood the full consequences after experiencing them. Never attribute to malice...

I know you just, but the numbers being so small makes a full decrement all that more impressive; 3 -> 2 is equivalent to 6 -> 4, 9 -> 6, 12 -> 8, ...

Am using Blazor WASM in our shop and absolutely loving it once deployed. The hot reload and other development headaches are -really- painful, but just being able to use our existing C# libraries everywhere has been a game-changer for us.
