I think the more salient question is "why do people post everything on facebook (and other services)". No sane person can be surprised that this is what happens with your data that you freely give away. And what I have been hearin

On a related note I have been wondering why artist's never provide quality content for free. You know graphics/images for games etc and music/sound effects for example. Coders provide software worth billions in man hours for

I don't like it that uber is coming to my country also and taxis are being deregulated. Until now you could make a decent living driving a cab, and all the cab drivers were skilled and professional and trustworthy. If you forgot your w

Taxi service has been great in finland. Competent drivers (they know their way around the city) and clean cars. Pretty good availability, except for the one hour when the bars close when you have to fight for your life at the taxi stop :)

Tested this, installed the docker versions (which should "just work"). The vnc library segfaulted immediately, didn't work. How can this fail even if they have built docker images with presumably the correct libraries?

Recently visited china and noticed that the people there behave really filthy. They eat their lunches on the go when walking in the city, and when they are done they just dump the styrofoam containers and leftovers right there in the street

Everybody here says that "software bloats" but nobody says how it bloats. Why does chrome take 500mb to render a page? Where does that memory go.

Well just publish a lump sum. Taxes paid: x €, benefits received: y €. Where's the problem with that? Medical costs could be excluded (medical care is practically "free" here ie. paid by taxes).
