I misread your reply on Lenski's experiment as dismissing it as not an example of evolution, rather than as not an example of speciation. The first would be incorrect, the second is more of a judgement call which calls for discussion.

I'll correct you because you're wrong. Adaptation is evolution. There's no line in the sand, no requirement for 'morphological differences', and no reproductive isolation before you call it evolution. Calling it ada

I've never met anyone who gets sick based entirely off vergence-accommodation conflict. I've certainly talked to people who claimed it was an issue but would happily go to a 3d film so I assume they were misattributing the cause o

Your confusion here is exactly why everyone is so down on D-wave. All the parents points are true which is why it's hard to take their hype seriously.

That's not how quantum annealing works. This is a pretty good walk through expected and actual gains. http://science.sciencemag.org/content/348/6231/215.full I've never heard anyone claim it'd

To be fair, that's by design and they make no secret of the fact that it's not a fully featured OS. FreeRTOS has a lot of that stuff available but I think that part of the reason it's so popular is because of how bare-bones,
