Not to defend google but the problems they are having now to access their own google play are the same problem a scammer would have to go do it. It does not look like a perfect balance, but they apparently err on the security side.

While ideologically coherent this position is inconsistent with another fact: it should be illegal to push people to commit crimes. We could design strongly addictive porn that would significantly increase the market for production of actua

If I can give my uninformed and probably lacking opinion the only reasonable definition of CP should revolve around crimes outside of the digital world. (Don't take this too literally) It is for sure CP if it involves actual child abus

Sadly the line would still be blurry. Fully clothed photos of kids are CP depending on the site where you find them for example. It is "easy" to block everything that could be CP, but that would include photos of children in diap

I believe in many places it is illegal to distribute even a novel with explicit CP. A relevant note is the distinction between production, distribution and possession (both directly or indirectly) when talking about corner cases. A 14 years

Nope, if I hide cocaine in your house the crime is mine. If person X send person Y unsolicited CP with the intention of calling the police on them I am pretty sure X is committing a crime. It might be hard for Y to prove this though.

Inequality is way deeper than money; finding blame in capitalism is alright, if you want to fight inequality and corruption you have a wildly different enemy than mere money

This is completely irrelevant and misses the point. A counterexample would be someone from a poor background dropping from college to found a startup.

That is irrelevant here, the point is how long does it take to distinguish two consecutive inputs as distinct.

Good for you. Still I can assure you that you won't be able to convince a dozen manufacturer that care about brands to think the same.

Obviously a software should not be just a giant chum-box, there are no kind of upsides to that. Still I do not understand why everyone should keep a mile away from them and be shamed for trying to ameliorate the bad sides of internet advert

My point is that ads are essentially the only way to gain visibility for a lot of products. The fact that internet ads are in such an harrowing situation is a consequence of perverse incentives on ads delivery and reliance on clickbait titl

Almost nothing is pure escapism. Most games that have little plot or content have a deep social nature (fortnite, LoL, online Call of Duty). Also being "honest" or "constructive" does not mean being "heavy". T
