You just take the computationally expensive work and run it elsewhere, like a worker pool. This is a standard pattern for this kind of work and what you would do with go too, except the worker pool might just be a number of goroutines.

Actually, you do need to visit Estonia if you need to open up a bank account with a bank there to go satisfy the AML and KYC requirements. I think one bank will let you use partner banks in a European-wide network, but I haven't tested

Looks good! Just beware that you don't give away too much for free though. A free plan is a good idea, but you've got to be fiscally sustainable and people are less trusting of services' longevity now because of the recent su

On your pricing plans page [0], there's a misleading statement that Cloudflare's free tier doesn't provide DDoS protection, but Cloudflare's pricing and feature page [1] states that the free tier does come with basic DDo

Interesting that the domain security tool fails my domains for not having registrar lock enabled. The most interesting part is that Gandi sets clientTransferProhibited but not clientUpdateProhibited or clientDeleteProhibited. I wonder if th

Possibly Mandrill/MailChimp employees flagging it because it's casting a bad light on them. They've disabled comments on their blog posts too. There seems to be a lot of backlash against what they're doing and they likel

This article seems to speak more to learning (or improving) new motor skills, although it's not hard to imagine that the same principles could apply to learning other skills too.

There's some really misleading information on that site. Tax rates are misleading and just plain wrong in some cases. I'd take information on that site with a pound of salt.

Estonian e-residency isn't the same. Stripe Atlas is a nearly end-to-end service for establishing a US company with a bank account and tax number. The Estonian e-residency on the other hand is essentially a just digital ID card that ca

No, not directly. Briefly, your two best options probably include E-1 (treaty trader) and E-2 (treaty investor). Both come with their issues and restrictions, but they're a common path so long as you either have substantial trade betwe

Perhaps the least talked about hidden danger with this service is the fact that by establishing a US nexus, you're putting yourself in the crosshairs of patent trolls. Software patents pretty much aren't a thing in the rest of the

Accepting cards from most locations isn't actually difficult any longer with Stripe, Braintree, Paymill, and others. US cards aren't special in terms of being able to accept them; they're just regular Visa/MC/Amex&#

It's an absolute egregious shame that PayPal, after more than a decade of problematic behavior, is still relevant.

As fun as MDMA is, it's horribly and cumulatively neurotoxic. Mass weekly usage would be a short term gain at the expense of a lot of long term health issues. MDMA and alcohol intoxication don't seem to be best friends either IIRC

Simply, aircraft engines are designed to be able to produce a lot more than their "fair share" of the thrust needed for flight. In the case of a twin engine aircraft, if one engine fails the other has to be able to compensate so t

Because of this legislation I foresee non-EU companies choosing to set up a European subsidiary to take online payments. It's good for Europe and will likely apply an interesting market force on fees outside of the EU.
