Nintendo is still actively selling SNES games via Nintendo Switch Online, and as far as I know rolls their own emulator(s) for this rather than using existing open source ones as Sony did for the PS Classic, so I doubt this will happen any

While all of Nintendo's official emulators are afaik made internally, it's interesting to note that Sony used an existing open source emulator (PCSX ReARMed) for their Playstation Classic. https://arstechnica.com/g

Anecdotal, but all the healthcare workers I know (both nurses and doctors) entered their professions because they have a genuine desire to help people and save lives, so I don't think they'd be willing to endanger their jobs right

Lower expenses for the employer as well by not having to maintain a physical office, which I have to imagine is a greater per-employee saving for the company than commuting is for the individual.

I agree, anyone doing AirBnB full time isn't an employee, they're a landlord. They should receive relief commensurate to what (if any, not sure on the details) other landlords are receiving, not unemployment.

I believe OPs point is about considering the longer term effects. If we prevent a million Covid-19 deaths with a rushed vaccine, but the vaccine kills even a few people and brings anti-vaxx into full swing and we get a nationwide diphtheria

That's true in theory, but unfortunately you can still run in to issues when different databases support different parts of SQL, and the db you're migrating from has different features than the one you're migrating to.
