I mean on a console, not a personal computer. We're talking digital distribution of software onto game consoles, with Steam and PC, it's easy. But, with say PSN and Xbox Live, I'm not alone when I say that I have trouble managing space and

I'm not surprised that this doesn't surprise anyone. So many fall victim to unethical practices from Gamestop, the worst I think being selling used re-shrink-wrapped games as New. In other news, digital distribution to me makes sense i.e. S

Did they publicly announce that they are getting rid of Facebook places? My circle of friends are still checking-in everywhere via Facebook. On a side note I use Facebook check-ins over Foursquare because of the tagging feature.

For me, HBO Go does it right. My parents have cable and I pay for their HBO just for the HBO Go subscription. It comes with their ENTIRE archive of TV shows, every single episode of all their shows. Not to mention, I was able to watch Game

I think it's a great idea and concept! It definitely hits a subset of Yelp but on a more personal and individualized sense. Good luck! In terms of Feedback on design I would try and ditch having the bright green everywhere. IMO, it looks li

This doesn't change how I currently do things but the move disappoint me. I want to watch things when they air and conveniently. It is inconvenient to pay $50 a month for cable + $10 for an HD box + $10 to watch it when I want to. It is con

Question: How old are you? I'm 23 and after entering the social gaming industry as a developer, the numbers are actually incredibly surprising. I'm talking like... several hundred thousand buckaroos a day from a single game, all from the sa

Hangouts is group video. Huddle is group text chats, which for some reason is mobile only and has no web interface. No one uses it 'cause not everyone has an Android device.

You know logic says they won't be able to maintain their dominance but history shows that things don't always follow logically. It's going to be super interesting what plays out next.

There's already group chat and groups. It's a nestled feature but it's there.

Mm I think you misunderstood my comment. I said Facebook is just a client, to which you say they're not, to which you contradicted yourself by saying that they launched farmville.com for farmville. Let me clarify. By client, I mean the tech

Facebook is just a client. Users, content, and data are all portable. If a user can access his or her Farmville world in 1 of 5 places, I don't think it's such a big deal that 1 of those places goes away, which itself is unlikely for now.

By putting money down I just meant 'confidence' in my point. And my point wasn't that the company is going to do well but that they now have the awareness that they are currently going about things incorrectly.

This response is meaningless. Any public company will say the same jargon to reassure their shareholders but I will put money down that internally RIM executives are dwelling on the letter and taking action.

OP's title doesn't accurately reflect original author's title/content. Article simply says there are other non-obvious targets/purposes to Google+ besides Facebook. Facebook isn't ruled out, it would be silly to claim so.

How do you end up paying more in taxes? A majority of my spending this year was made on Amazon and in my tax return I didn't enter a single one of those purchases as "Out of State Untaxed Purchase" so I didn't get taxed, which I think was i

The Reddit community has really become something incredible. They really have to be careful and not upset their community through selfish monetize strategies like Digg. They've done great so far. I vote that they monetize by Gold membership

No, HBO Go is included in a cable subscription. Fortunately for me I've got family that watch HBO but aren't tech savvy enough to realize I'm using their HBO Go account. My point though is that I would pay a monthly fee for HBO Go having ex

I'm actually surprised to see anyone even compare Ubuntu to Chrome OS in terms of maintenance. The idea is that you don't want to teach how to maintain anything. You don't want to describe anything. Do you realize how easy it is to break so
