I like not having a search option. It keeps me learning things at random. It keeps the site simple and constantly fresh.

The only thing you can do with a bread maker is make bread. With an ipad, you can connect with your social network, read, play tons of games, watch almost anything, just be constantly online. And maybe, someday, we'll be able to use it to m

Aren't they making moves into energy? Though as long as they retain their dominance in search, they'll be relevant. And profitable. Diversification should never be forced. I believe that Google will evolve naturally.

It wasn't a privacy concern for me. It was boredom. FB slowly became boring. I joined around the time when the poke was invented and FB was something new. Every time i logged in, i'd find something interesting to do. Doesn't feel like that

It's just so demoralizing for someone to tell you that you aren't that 'killer idea and team' combo.

I don't understand something. YC rejects groups because they have a limited number of slots. They say it's not that your idea is bad, but because they cannot fund everyone. Then they open up the field for late applications. For me, that

I didn't make it either. I still think I have a great idea though, but what really intrigues me are those 60 companies that made it through to the interview round. They must have some insanely great ideas!

I've got it. I'll know on the 13th if i've made it through to the YC interview. If I do, i'll just ask for their advice re cofounders. If not, i'll throw my plan wide open here and see. Thanks.

That's my dilemma. I want to give more details but I can't without messing up my game plan. So for lack of a better solution, I will be waiting for someone who will jump off the page then discuss the project further with that person. Anyway

Definitely not adwords for Twitter. I've looked. Hard. I've never seen this done before so i'm taking a leap of faith.

I already have a programming team. What I need is someone who is familiar with social network ad rates and the companies who are heavy social network advertisers so that I can price my product properly. Thanks.

Again, I would love nothing more than to be extremely specific and go into detail, but I can't. Anyway, this may not be the right forum to look. Thanks.

It's not that it's fragile. The key with this project is to be the first. I've never seen it done before so I want to do it before anyone else does. Sorry for being so vague. Thanks for the input though.
