Well that is just what I was told. Another possible reason is that it is much easier to let MyMathLab grade everything and then spit out a grade at the end of the semester. Though I'm the one paying $140 for a license code.

Part of the problem is with the codes that are required for homework. A class that I'm taking right now has a code for $110 and a code and textbook for $135. So the textbook isn't really worth very much secondhand. The code is the
