Also if anyone is wondering why the costs are so high, the main expenses are CloudFront (huge HUGE gifs) and Mailchimp. I'm sure I could reduce the costs to $50-100ish a month, but laziness.

99% of the money comes from the newsletter sponsorships. Newsletter sponsorships generally can earn wayyyy more than website ads. Incase you're interested in more details, the newsletter has ~10,000 subscribers (~50% daily, ~50% weekly

I think it's too early to tell. There only needs to be one winner in each bet for them all to win & it still seems possible to me. Hard to tell until a couple of years from now though.

I find this even more interesting because a large chunk of the book "The Innovator's Dilemma" is about disruption in the storage industry. I've not finished reading the book yet, but I think there were a few predictions
