> A pathetic one-line non-explanation for such a giant bug, that doesn't even align with the facts of what actually happened, is not congruent with the actions you'd expect from a company that cares about privacy. I disagree.

I enjoy the tone of this article, which thinks we are entitled to track the movement of private citizens if it involves too much jet fuel.

Is someone tracking your CO2 emissions when you drive or travel by commercial jet? There's no database I'm aware of where I can search for your name and see all your vehicular movement.

We have irrefutable evidence that Elon was the top executive at companies that did all those things, while you have no evidence that those things would have happened without him.

Their lack of external transparency in no way refutes my assertion that they take privacy very seriously internally (and that it's not just a marketing ploy). Also, taking something very seriously does not mean there can't be crit

I worked there for years, and privacy was taken very very seriously. It was in the DNA of every project I saw. There was open contempt for companies that extract value from your personal information.

I think you're doing bad math. My point is that a shitty, low-cost middle-American diet greatly exceeds the caloric burn of walking, across any time window you choose. I mean, it's obviously better to walk than to not, but I&#x

The person now in charge of Search is Elizabeth Hamon Reid, a long-time googler who came up through the ranks from engineer (in Google Maps) to VP over 20 years. She's legit.

I have a 65” actually. The AVP is like having a 200”+ screen. And this isn’t about “hur dur everything bigger is better.” You actually do appreciate cinematography more at a large scale. I’ve had to pause, e.g., some shots in Kill Bill a
