Lemmy has been great. Only been on about a week, haven't missed Reddit even a litte, and I was a friggin' addict. Mastodon too, been on there for a few years but I don't use it much, I was off Twitter long before that even ca

Anyone who has spent a good chunk of their life trying to keep things as minimal as possible after being “inspired” by such articles can understand the reaction. There’s no reason a sensible comment, even if it’s a bit emotionally charged,

I know very smart, fly-over state born and raised, right leaning individuals, I don't know anyone that calls them rednecks. It's meant to mean uneducated, violent, rapey, racist, fake religious, fake patriot, asshole. The aforemen

Lemmy has been great. I went SDF as a host. Never going back to Reddit. I left Twitter almost a decade ago so I can’t compare to mastodon but that’s been really nice too.

All Google has to do is remove the dependency on the users browser from the "advertising" system. No other form of advertising in history required users to partake in the process of displaying the ad. The only reason we can block

I'm a family premium member. After the recent price hike, it's the most expensive streaming plan I have, by a long shot. uBO does so much more than block ads and I have a no-exceptions policy on whitelisting, even when I'm pa
