I wonder how many of the GPT-generated papers are actually made by people whose native language is not English and who want to improve their English. That would explain various "as of my last knowledge update" still left intact in

Laravel follows dubious practices: god objects (like a parent class which has hundreds of functions), static functions etc. The kind of practices our product is actively moving away from (originally based on Symfony 1 which had all the arch

A few days ago I prototyped an AI chatbot which has access to our product's documentation and so far whatever I throw at it, it answers pretty well, without hallucination. It uses GPT4o-mini and OpenSearch for hybrid search (with custo

I suspect GPT4o already has training for CoT. I've noticed it often responds by saying something like "let's break it down step by step". Or maybe it's the system prompt.

I tried learning PyTorch with ChatGPT and it's not so bad. It explains certain topics and provides examples. And if you run it side-by-side with a Python shell and type examples yourself you can see yourself if it hallucinates or not.

We've ditched "magical dependency injection frameworks" for manual injections in constructors and the net result is that development is actually faster. Yes, you write slightly more code, but at the same time, it's much

Calling it a "transformer" is misleading when discussing language modelling because it now means a very specific ML architecture while your project seems to be about Markov chains + hardcoded rules using regexps https://

It's possible to train useful LLMs on affordable harwdare. It depends on what kind of LLM you want. Sure you won't build the next ChatGPT, but not every language task requires a universal general-purpose LLM with billions of param
