Transparent OLEDs are not 100% transparent (especially for IR) and it would impact camera quality and face detection used in faceID.

Bombing of Dresden is well known, of course, but it doesn't compare to a single bomb that can level cities when it comes to deterring your enemy. I'm not trying to diminish the scale of destruction in Dresden, but there are many c

What huge internal problems in Poland are you referring to? I'm genuinely curious, because the situation in Poland is quite stable (single party government), the economy is growing and we don't have migration problems like Germany

Hiding pointer behind a typedef is a terrible idea (like non-const reference arguments in C++). You never know if something you pass into functions could be modified by them or not. I'd much rather change every place in code where set

Wouldn't it be easier to add some rope pulling the capsule to compensate for the air resistance? Or would it add too much "noise" because of the imperfections of such system?

I wonder where iPad line will be in few years. Personally I don't see a reason to use an iPad over my macbook, but if this trend continues, then it might be a reasonable pc replacement for most users.

Great book. I recommend buying a paper/ebook version to support the author. His writing style is very concise and funny so it's easy to follow and it reads very fast. The only thing I didn't like is that for code examples he

This title is false and clickbaity. Puszcza Białowieska is definitely not on "brink of collapse". Please take a look at http://www.lasy.gov.pl/information/all-about-bialowieza-fore... .

Would you rather have your program fail at runtime instead of using a statically typed language? It really baffles me why so many people prefer dynamically typed languages and write large projects in them.

But you still don't get any control over memory layout of your data and how allocations are performed and this could easily cost you an order of magnitude in performance.

It's hard to optimize your code if you made bad decisions about memory layout of your data structures in the past.
