Yep that's fair to count this. But I use TKL keyboards and having the mouse in hand most of the time unless typing words, mean I don't need a split keyboard or any fancy setup and I have no RSI. The distance between mouse and the

I'm not sure I fully understand but changing a lot of code nowadays, we mostly offload the tedious part to an LSP. Using clangd in vscode, I don't see how you'd be faster in neovim making changes by glorified search and repla

I'm probably going to cop a wave of negative comments, but personally I'm much faster with keyboard and mouse, traditional editor than vim. 25 years professional and going, I've given vim shortcuts a fair go. I learnt the one

I read LLMOps for the first time today and I couldn't stop laughing. Glad someone else picks on it. We're getting closer and closer to my idyllic goal: RoLLMOps! [1] [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rollmops

Back in the day we used to just make a fart button on a web UI. The level of dedication at this stage is beyond me! Well done. Please detect dog droppings near hand, for a wash hand notification.

Funnily enough, wend looks like what fun programming means to me. C like (prefixed types) syntax, strongly typed but without heartaches of pointers, and simple types. Every features on top of that has either leaky abstractions and/or n

Most people will hardly read what the LLM spits out after 3 hours of use and execute the code. You now are running potentially harmful code with the user's level access which could be root level; potentially in a company environment, v

I've never used Stripe, but what is the author implying here? That Stripe is leaking keys? That seems like such an outrageous claim. It's far more likely that the team behind the said product leaked their Stripe prod key, by mista

I have been using LLM for a long time but these prompts ideas are fantastic; they really opened up a world for me. Because a lot of the benefits of LLM is bringing ideas or questions I am not thinking of right now, and this really does that

You know this reminds me of flat design. "They won't need designers anymore, the developer can do it all!" Sure, icon designers of 2005 would kick the little figma butts today, but we didn't get rid of designers, and we

I think using the term backdoor is completely wrong in this case. You're not at risk for using LLM other than the content producer being able to tell that the LLM trained on their data; maybe, potentially... It's a stretch even.
