Looks interesting, but I found the fact that they say | Be wary of aggressive performance claims, as benchmarks used by some of these projects are known to be out-of-date and flawed (in the sense that they can be - and are - exploited) on a

Could not agree more. This coupled with the feeling of being "defeated" when you need to move cards from this sprint to the next sprint just because you didn't get it completed is why my team went away from sprints.

I find it strange that the beef is with Google and not with the sites Google points at. Even if Google removes these search results, the articles are out there, probably linked from some other articles on the same newspaper's site, etc

This is correct except for the cases where a company can show "legitimate interest" in which case it is in fact an opt-out rather than an opt-in [1]. And yeah, I agree - they mean business [1] https://www.gdpreu.org

Yep, any sort of event sourcing approach will theoretically give you the time machine this guy is looking for (albeit with the data from the "bad" release being entirely thrown away). However in practice I think it's non-triv

Didn't expect to see this one here. I worked for Nokia at the time that they bought some of the CodeWarrior assets from Metroworks. Coming from Visual Studio, CodeWarrior felt like a big step down. What do you miss about it?

I disagree on #1. There's no need to be a martyr as a tech lead. Assign the tasks based on who is the best person to get it done (based on competency, knowledge of affected components, etc.). Treat your employees like adults. They don&

I've found this to be the single greatest challenge I have as a tech lead. It's incredibly tempting to say "oh, I think I'll have time this week, so I can take that Trello card". If it's on the critical path, l

I've been on both sides of this. I've been in meetings where people from a company I worked for oversold a product (promised features that didn't exist) and I've been in the receiving end as well. It never works out well
