Thanks! We're currently free. We'll roll out or pricing soon but it will be something like: - Free for teams under 6 users - $10-12/month for teams up to 25 users - Some sort of higher enterprise pricing above that

Simply not hard coding your secrets is a good first step. Even better is to think about how you’re going to rotate secrets. So much easier if you build it in from the start than if you need to tack it on later. Once you have secret rotation

The services Apple provides are great for consumers. Making it easy to sign in and to pay across any app, being able to manage and cancel subscriptions in a single place, etc. But the fee they charge is plain and simple price gouging. They’

A while back I asked a similar question. Basically I said “I need to go with RN or Flutter because I don’t have budget to hire both an iOS and Android engineer”. I was challenged by another HNer asking if I was confident that building apps

Anyone have experience with successfully doing UI tests (especially screenshot tests) in a very young software product? We try to keep our "plumbing" code and backend code well tested, but the UI is changing all of the time and I&

I worked at Nokia starting in about 2004. Looking back on my career, one of the single greatest feelings of accomplishment was getting a Hello World application to run on Symbian/S60. I thought I knew C++ going in, but I wasn't pr

Hi HN! I'm one of the founders of Kitemaker. My co-founders and I have been leading and working in software development teams together for many years. While the teams have changed over the years, a few things have remained constant: -

I think one thing that always needs discussing when talking about modals is accessibility. As this article shows, getting a modal on the screen isn't hard with react. Ensuring that the focus is trapped to the modal (that you can't

Suspect Roam Research [0] might work nicely for what you're doing. It's a very loosely structured tool that basically lets you build your own graph between different wiki-ish pages. 0: https://roamresearch.com/

Yeah, I tend to agree. After 18 months with TypeScript, I can't really imagine going away from it. After every single refactoring I do, I'm extremely grateful for proper typing. Not to mention sugar like null coalescing, etc.
