Ah man I hate that so many Americans seem to think they are paying anything for Germany’s defense. It’s just not true. Sure there are US troops in Germany but only because you need them to be here for your own purposes like that Rammstein b

Would you mind elaborating on why you dislike GDPR? I, as a German, like GDPR. Sure it isn’t perfect but it’s better than what we had before. Now when I request the deletion of my data for example a company has to and will nearly always com

I can see why you’d feel that way but for me it still blocks a lot of stuff I don’t want. I block some domains/companies via my hosts file and run a pihole but there’s always the odd advertising network etc I, or my pihole didn’t knew

If you want more granularity I’d suggest giving uMatrix a try. You’ll basically break every site at first and have to make adjustments for every site you visit (whitelist certain Ressourcen on a per domain basis) but I think it’s well worth

Pecorino Romano is my favorite cheese! It’s flavor is more subtle than that of Parmaggiano Reggiano and it lacks some of the bitter notes which makes it excellent for Carbonara as you said. But I think it’s perfect for tomato based pasta s

I’m a resident of Hanover and have been to every Cebit in the last ten years. The fall was inevitable. You could feel that Cebit was struggling to attract visitors and wasn’t sure what it’s identity was. I feel like they should have focused

Renting out private homes is, or shall I say was still a big part of Cebit in Hanover in 2018. As a resident living in the core of the city you’d always get flyers in the months leading up to it asking you if you’d be interested in renting

I assume you have more disposable income than me. For me this would be a gamble and like I said the chance of data recovery isn’t to high in my case that’s why I haven’t done it mainly. I had someone who works with HDD’s take a look at it a

It’s questionable if the data can even be restored. Plus there’s more sensitive data than just Bitcoin private keys on that disk I’m not really that comfortable sending that in to some lab for data recovery. When the disk broke I inquired w
