The problem with BlueSky is that they built something specific for Twitter like experiences. Nostr is much better positioned to take on these large platforms IMO. You can build pretty much any social experience on it. Here's a selectio

Using the average electricity produced is not the way to plan power production. I’m sure you’re aware that there are peak usage patterns as well as “wind droughts” resulting in situations where the power generated isn’t enough. You have to

It’s better than running it on a separate server but if you’re using Postgres you’re always hitting the network stack on the machine, with SQLite that isn’t the case.

Start with Phoenix and add live_svelte when you need to. No need to juggle both at the same time when you're starting out.

Some things just end up being a better experience fully client-side. Don't go all in on it - just do it when it makes sense. Another thing I like about this is the ability to be able to use Svelte as a templating language rather than H

Relevant to the BTC story is this recent tweet by Bukele: https://twitter.com/nayibbukele/status/1768425845163503738 Looks like they have quite a stack compared to what people previously thought. There's also

Elixir + Phoenix (+ Svelte via live_svelte if you need very very real time stuff). Has everything you need and none of the BS that is the JS ecosystem. :)

Most likely you’ll need to do accounting in the EU country since that is the de facto place of business (your office). That is in addition to whatever US accounting. Not ideal.
