Anecdotally, as someone who just did a bunch of interviewing, I saw a number of these types of questions instead of super hardcore LC stuff. Particularly the last two. It was a pleasant surprise, as I really struggle with dynamic programmin

Yeah, but if you tweak an ad-placement algorithm or a UI that results in Google selling 0.1% more ads, you've instantly produced more revenue than you will make in salary your entire life. No one's making a value judgement. The di

Do you have links to any kind of published data/papers about this? That’s really interesting and I would love to learn more.

Thank you for this! Based on their quick video, I wasn’t quite sure of the control scheme. Four basic modes with a little bit of extra control seems ideal for this kind of product.

Yeah. This is kinda what really good media reviewing should look like. An earnest, thoughtful explanation of why this book (or movie, or whatever) is important and worth absorbing.

But even that stuff is gonna be more configuration than Heroku, right? I wanna spend literally zero hours a month on server / dev ops, if I can manage it. I will pay for it and accept the constraints of simplicity.

A little off-topic, but I love the style of this writer. The humor is a little goofy in the best way; the structure is detailed, but still conversational. It just feels very… personable. Like — computers are so goddamn neat. We should all

To be more accurate, the pandemic showed that onshoring beats globalization... in a pandemic . The cost benefits were wildly outstripping the national security benefits before 2020! That's why globalization has thrived! I know that&#x
