I read The Phoenix Project several times, but compared with The Goal it has very little to teach you. It is a nice story, easy to relate, but extremely hard to understand what is it that needs to be done at an organization to move it throug

Pretty sure that Deming and Taiichi Ohno both are responsible for the creation of these ideas, and they both learned from each other and improved. Which is why eventually it looks very similar looking at it from either side.

This story about NUMMI (where Tesla factory resides) shows that it is not just Japanese who can enjoy improvement, same goes for Americans whose managers are a bit more open minded. https://www.thisamericanlife.org/561/

I love the Toyota books, read almost any book that is somehow connected to TPS, Toyota, Lean and such. There is a really fun to read a trilogy by Michael Ballé, the first book is called "The Gold Mine". And from Goldratt, all of h

The app itself is pretty shitty, takes a ton of space on the phone and performance is meh. Also a good reason to delete the app, something which has nothing to do with being or not being a user of Facebook.

or you can utilize exported resources, like the article describes, and append your API endpoints to the "master" API Gateway resource that is not even in the same stack.

Have you even read the article? Using exported resources and avoiding nested stacks makes it impossible to reach these numbers.

Last time I checked ARM did not have any support for custom resources. The first thing mentioned in the article. Also last time I checked it was JSON only, while CloudFormation moved to YAML which is shorter and allows for proper comments.

Excellent advice! I would also advise creating a couple of scripts that upload to S3 and run the update-stack commands automagically. Every advice in the article is gold though.
