Kind of funny - reminds me of some american politician who is going against F12 in the browser. Facebook is the one who should be liable.

Good point. Yes, the market (employees) will choose - the posted article highlights this pretty well.

This sounds like what a client of a drug dealer would say. There has been plenty of proof of illegal (downright malicious) behavior in multiple dimension by big tech (anti competitive, anti privacy, bad security practices, keeping wages low

Interesting that the person moved to San Diego (not a cheap place by any means), and Google cuts the salary. There is some strange fixation Google currently has, especially towards getting people into their New York offices - must be some t

The motivation behind such a move is likely iOS 14 updates. So, to compensate they do this. It's really difficult these days to find anything positive about Facebook and related products.

Wondering how Facebook communicates now internally - most of their work streams likely depend on Facebooks systems which are all down. Can engineers and security teams even access prod systems anymore? Like, would "Bastion" hosts

Epic is the customer here also and they want to be able to provide a convenient and cheaper way for their customers. Their asks are not only reasonable, they are consumer friendly. Apple is just being a bully.

Not up to date on things. But why? Not knowing much about this, To me it seems obvious that nation states (esp dictatorships) would try to change narratives to their advantage.
