Mostly the navigational system is a mess - and feels of duct taped features without ever a desire to go in and clean it up. Some points from just using it now: - The strange lower left/lower right hamburger slide out menu things with o

Check Twitter, they are more than happy to see their work deprecated. Both Cocoapods and Carthage should eventually be phased out with an official package manager.

Great comment. I have also noticed the really strange response from what feels like (anecdotally, I admit) EVERYONE being ecstatic that not only did this leak happen, but that Ashley Madison's users are "getting what's coming

Considering it's per-developer: Imagine an enterprise of 20 devs hacking away at various Xamarin projects with one dedicated "deploy" person. They'd get away with not paying licenses for 19 of those devs.

Xamarin maps iOS and Android API's 1:1, and you usually have access to bindings within days (sometimes hours?) of SDK releases. Note the date: http://blog.xamarin.com/introducing-ios-7-support/

Fool me once... http://flexcoin.com So what do people have to do to "be more cautious"? If both the biggest and smallest Bitcoin exchanges are getting ransacked, then what does cautious even mean?

I wouldn't go that far. If people are comparing Bitcoin to ye old Dollar, then the lack of regulation that can lead to a disaster like this is something people need to be aware of.

I'd be more curious in dollars per developer-hour. Numbers would get screwy throwing in every curious person who got skin-deep into UIKit enough to pop out a 3 hour TODO app.
