I've been playing with Win7 64bit on a quad core/4GB ram setup with NVidia graphics since the RC came out. I've ran a few steam games, DoW2, warhammer online and not had any problems with them. The graphics card manufacturers seem to have

It's a really nice project. Overall I found it quite easy to use, but I think you could improve the distinction between creating new BookBoxs and updating BookBoxs. Perhaps only showing one of the password options based on where you came f

Once again, and this story is yet another example, poorly implemented DRM frustrates and alienates legitimate users, and doesn't do anything to stop a determined pirate who will almost always find a way to overcome the DRM. The best DRM I'v

It's already difficult for hardware designers to keep up with the underlying technology. It's incredibly difficult to manage the complexity of design, hence the massive growth in EDA tools over the last 10 years. The productivity gap betwe

It's nice to hear that someone is actually using both tools to their strengths and to complement one another, instead of just dismissing one as being worse than the other.

I spent nearly a day messing about with X the other week when I upgraded my Ubuntu install. I really enjoy using Linux, but things like that annoy me. When I'm at home I prefer to do work stuff on my mac, it feels nice, and it provides me

I think I was about 10 and it was an Atari STE, I really wanted a Falcon though! I used to buy ST format and mess about with the programming listings that they put in there. I even managed to hook it up to a BBS a few times when my parent

I wonder if putting another browser on a CD and putting it in with a customers purchase would make any impact on the percentage of IE6 browsers visiting that site in the future. It could be a worthwhile investment if IE6 support could be dr

If we woke up and all the technology was gone, would we want to get back to where we are now...a second time around would be a good chance to fix/improve stuff.
