What about native-style widgets? Are they finally fixed? That's been my gripe with firefox since day 1, and the only thing still holding me back to Sarafi. Although buttons look native-ish, dropdowns (from the <select> element) st

I trutly believe (after going through so many such "tricks/hacks") that you can never motivate yourself to enjoy something you "must" do unless you somehow make into something you "want" to do, and then follow it up with specific reasons. R

Hmm... you could argue that point though. It's one thing to have the dream of becomming a saxaphone player. It's another to have the dream of becomming a "famous" saxaphone player.

Yeah. It's kinda sad when you have a romantic idea of something, but reality paints a totally different picture. I'm learning a new language at the moment. The romantic idea I had in my head was being able to speak it fluently with friend

The author laments about how America is a society that prefers to break things and then fix them later, the opposite of which should be to prevent things from breaking in the first place. Ironic, considering that his solution to obesity is

One point I want to raise is that of how fast the code is to type. If you can come up with an elegant syntax that doesn't require characters that need key-combinations ("Ctrl" + "[" for an open-brace, "Shift" + "9" for open-bracket, etc) t

I have to agree with this. I do a lot of java development zmimon is correct in saying that eclipse is less stable, particularly with the UI, which looks terribly out of place on a mac (you'll see a lot of blogs criticizing this) because it

From what I found out in this typing course I took if you're pressing Ctrl + C you're meant to use the pinky on your RIGHT hand and hit C with the LEFT (middle finger). The same applies to Q, E, W, and all other keys on the right side of th
