It's not just Microsoft who seem to be out of the game so to speak. What's going on with Nokia? It's taking them forever to come up with a device and/or platform that seems like a credible competitor to Android and iPhone OS.

If anything Boiler Room is a morality tale saying you shouldn't let the pursuit of material wealth destroy your relationships and that their are no shortcuts to success. That's what I got out of it anyway.

Wondering why some peoples choice of movie is being downvoted. Someone asked a question, other people answered it. Just because you don't like the choice of movie, doesn't mean you should bury their opinion.

I typed up most of the individual observations in the Notes app over the past 3 weeks, hence the list-based nature of the blog post. Then I copied and pasted the notes from Mail (on my main computer) into Textmate for some editing/refinemen

Should have been cleared in the post - I meant larger screen (and higher resolution) devices including monitors. Reading digital comics on an iPhone or small screen is something I just dont like doing.

From the sounds of it Steam sounds like a fair DRM system. I don't have anything against the principle of DRM itself - as long as it's implemented in a way that is fair to both consumers and content providers. Most DRM "solutions" are laugh

The iPad and other closed systems (PS3, Xbox) don't magically make Windows PCs, Macs, Linux or the Web go away. As developers we have more choices than we have had in a very long time in terms of picking the platforms we want to develop for

Yeah you can embed various languages into C-based and Java-based platforms. It's not quite the same thing as the official platform being based on such languages. The official platform will always have more mindshare, and thus support, in th

I think Nokia's future is really going to be determined by their ability to make great software. There is no question that they can make great hardware, but pretty much in all cases their software is letting them down. Can this hardware eng
