^ Wow surprised at the pushback on that. The term "Wild Indians" is referring back to the "Wild West" days and is no way indicative of actual modern day American Indians. Maybe another term could have been used however I think it was blown

It's like buying condoms before the first date. (Sorry for the inappropriate inference.) Am I the only one that thinks that's a good idea? Seriously, people in cars cause accidents, accidents in cars cause people.

Good designers buy stock photos for generic things and fill in with custom bits to produce a finished piece. Good programmers copy/pase boilerplate code and focus on the stuff that really makes it different. (iOS example) you don't write ou

Exactly, it's the lie that's bad. If he had not added on CS most likely he still would have gotten the job. I would bet he was just keeping up a lie he started earlier in his career.

Why I switched to google. A) it was fast, it loaded fast. B) it was not filled with ads and pop ups. Only one of those is still true.

A lot of what I have worked on is closed source so lately I have been looking through all of my old files/hard drives looking for code to post to github. Either A) it is so old that it's a mess. Or B) it's from some personal project that I

The big draw for the pi is the price at around $30 it's a very feature rich machine. The pi would actually do better in the market that intel is targeting (kiosks and digital displays) do to its size and ability to run off USB power. You co

I follow this simple rule when dealing with trolls online. "Don't argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience" It's better not to engage in the first place.

I'm no stranger to this feeling, however I always seem to figure it out. It's one of the traits that makes someone good a programming, there can't always be a code sample or someone there to show you how and you just have to do it anyway. +
