100k is less then the 750k - 1M that lost for hanging onto them for a year without use. Sorry but something smells fishy here, the first month they should have swapped the drives and put those servers back up. (saving the drives intact just

Porsche is actually known for NOT being helpful to owners when they screw up. They deny fault for many major recall worthy issues, go visit some Porsche forums and see for yourself.

$14,742.88 is the real cost since hospital are running off of the income from what insurance actually pays. if average people were able to pay the "insurance adjusted price" for most things they would not need insurance for most things.

I've never wished HN had a "Ban Button" before today. He released something that represents a lot of work on his part and you come in here and shit on it. If you don't like it you move along, you don't wage a holy war of negative comments.

The idea is great, I'm sure the'll get the pricing sorted out after the launch. From my point of view $10/Day + free parking ($18) seems low. Maybe if you're leaving a smart car or something, but what if you have a nicer car like a Lexus or

If it's possible to trick the FMS as it seems they are not denying. Then in bad weather the pilot could easily be given false information to say that he's flying straight and level when he's actually in a dive or inverted. If you depend on

I moved from Miami to the Bay Area because of that exact reason. Miami is more or less dead as far as the coding/startup community goes. To bad since it's about 1/3rd the cost to live there.

Funny things with startups, it's always the ones you least expect that hit the ball out of the park... let's not forget there are a half a billion iOS devices out there and lots of butterfingers

Yes however for users Interface speed = speed. Native apps have more leeway in faking the feeling of speed because even if you're waiting for a request you can still fill out the rest of the interface and start using it. HTML5 can feel slug

I guess you have not worked at a company where these types of things can and do happen? It's a plausible story in my book since I had something similar happen early in my career. My boss hated me and another new hire (fear) and kept telling

I bought a 300k house for 70k (4.9% Fixed) after the bubble burst (Florida) the house had never been under 100k since it was built in the 80s Now it's value is back up to 150k, rent pays mortgage and maintenance 3x. I understand your point,
