There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader. It was RSS front-and-center,

It's perhaps worth noting that the next line of the Zen of Python is: "Although that way may not be obvious at first unless you're Dutch." (I.e. unless you're Guido.) So it was a bit of a tongue in cheek statement f

There's generally one obvious way to do it. There's almost certainly other ways to do it, and those other ways might be better suited for different specific tasks, but the obvious way tends to exist and be widely usable. Are the

Given that you don't mention seeing blood, this was almost certainly just someone playing a prank by eating sugar glass. It's slightly thickened melted sugar that you've let set into a thin pane. Looks just like glass, but it

As always, correlation / causation might be complicated here. I.e. maybe the sort of conditions that make you more likely to die of a heart attack also wind up reducing your ability / motivation to exercise.

With the added inconvenience that the Senator Fuckface episode will have a C-plot that contains some of the most important lore in the entire show, so you can't just tell people to skip it.

I think that part of what keeps Londo sympathetic is that, for all that he makes terrible choices and goes to some dark places, he's not doing it from self-interest. He wants to do what's best for his people. In a weird parallel w

The tight plotting is, in a sense, something that makes it difficult to recommend to people these days. Because there really are some clunky episodes, particularly early on, but they all have something important going on, even if just in

Yeah, I'm so used to seeing skeuomorphism used in terms of UI design that this felt a bit jarring to read. Makes perfect sense, of course. The word just means imitating the design of something made of a different material.
