We already know how that is going to play out. Go ask your local radio and TV repairman. (Although they weren't helped by the fact that transistorized designs simply didn't have parts that were expected to burn out on a regular b

It is briefly mentioned in the manpage, https://www.archlinux.org/pacman/PKGBUILD.5.html , but basically a pkgbuild can use a git repo as a source directly. Here's an example: https://aur.archlinux.org&

I presume you mean lightsd. Nifty stuff. What do you think of Suse's OBS? I believe you're squarely in its target audience. And hats off to you for going the extra mile for your project! Your PKGBUILD even looks quite good. W

Around that same period was the peak for plane hijackings - almost one per week in 1969. Cuba was the typical destination, 34 times that year.

This reminds me of something I read on HN a while back and forgot to bookmark. (Naturally I've been unable to find it since.) I think the article was written by a company who made a static code analysis tool. They described how there

Grab an AVR microcontroller. Make a clock. Microcontroller-C is extremely different from application-C but there are many less complicated concepts. Like never having to touch memory allocation or string munging.

Is native sata that much better than a usb3 adapter? All of the chips that offered sata were SATA 2.0, or 300MB/s. USB3 goes up to 625MB/s. If a board with SATA 3.0 existed, that is still just 600MB/s.
