Testing membership is the easy part of sets. What about subset, superset, union, intersection, difference? So many problems are trivial thanks to sets. I'd sooner give up regex support in python than the set type, that is how useful

A steel wire can lift things all by itself. Just cool the wire. If you disagree with this, consider the motor or hydraulic cylinder that can't lift anything either. (Without an external source of energy like a battery or compressor.

The "big new thing" about this is that it doesn't use compressed air the way traditional air muscles do. It doesn't use compressed air at all. You're probably going to say that vacuum pumps are noisy/heavy n

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hornsdale_Wind_Farm the battery can do 70MW for ten minutes and 30MW for three hours. They also say "capable of discharge at 100 megawatts" but that might be margin of safe

What is your field? What textbook says that "microwave" and "radio" are different? I've been citing a lot of sources here. Just this one from you would be appreciated.

Of course that is a big problem. One of many reasons to replace ChromeOS with a full desktop Linux. Chromebook hardware is great for the money. Replace the OS and you have the best of both worlds.

Funny you should mention Mint. For many years they have required that you do a re-install instead of a dist-upgrade. Even just this past year, that was the officially recommended course of action for going from Mint 17 to Mint 18.
