I doubted that Github would push new (bad) production code mid-day unannounced, and it still happened. To be fair, Github I think pushes new production code several times a day every day?

While I don't have anything smart to say about stuff like this, I'd love to see their postmortem on this one. Would be somewhat hilarious if it's another bad configuration push across their infrastructure. Github has had so m

How much weight would be such an anchor to hold down something as large as a rocket? Wouldn't you have to launch that into space, too?

Can anyone explain how this works? Won't Ad-Block or other ad blockers block them out? I've heard you can pay AdBlock to unblock your ads? Is that what's happening?

I was able to figure it out, but it was still annoying. Equally annoying was that it JS-hotlinked each section of the website requiring me to press the back button a million times to get back to the last actual webpage. Hot-linking is cool,

Is the market size worth it? How will you reach the every-day regular-John-Smith families who aren't going to be keeping an eye out for a service like this?

It's unfair to just say "Hey look. Youtube and Vimeo with billions of dollars and decades of experience between them decided to put a volume control. You should too." But personally, there should be a volume control. It is ve

This reminds me of phones before the iPhone. Yeah, "better" UI, bigger keyboards, more color, .1 more megapixel camera... Iterative stuff. Someone or some company is going to have to completely shatter our imaginations of this mar

I disagree that this will become a winner. No one wants to play crappy games on their TV, and Amazon can't become a winner with the small population of people who do.

Agreed. I co-founded a FIRST FRC team during my time at high school and it remains one of the coolest things I've ever done. Program now is doubled in size and budget, and they accomplish some really cool things. FRC league is for High
