In general, I don't expect anything to be worse than existing solutions, but not everything will be better. Enabling Rosetta can have a minor performance hit on memory-intensive workloads in the VM (not only x86 ones) because of TSO me

Looks like this doesn't work with HTTPS because the pings are done with HTTP requests. You have to disable HTTPS-only mode and load it over plain HTTP: http://gfblip.appspot.com/ Requests get blocked for mixed content

I totally understand your hesitation as most themes are free, although there is precedent for paid/freemium themes (Monokai Pro, Dracula Pro, Material Theme UI for IntelliJ). Hueflake's main differentiators are high quality (consi

Do you have cookies disabled by any chance? If so, it's a known issue I'm still trying to fix because the auth library I use (Supabase) breaks without localStorage.

Great points, thanks so much for the feedback! - Fixed the new-theme issue, not sure how I missed that. - Undo is definitely a good idea! - I was considering an embedded Monaco editor for more flexible previews, but didn't end up addin

Modern phones already have DRM running in TrustZone, even if you flash a custom Android build. pKVM is actually better in that regard as the DRM will be moved to a protected VM under Android's control, so you could choose to disable

It's true that perceptual color spaces can be hard to work with, but they can help generate fairly good UI themes on-the-fly when used correctly. For UI, the ability to keep lightness constant regardless of chroma and hue is essential

Most internal commit history is intact in AOSP, including the changes between releases. They just have a complex merging setup that deviates slightly from internal branches.
