While I agree in that it obviously is not the smartest way of doing that, if it gets people to actually feel like they have a plan for taking care of their debt and to start making progress on doing so, then it's worth it. Obviously th

I have not - once the pain subsided I decided to take a break from all the medical reading and research for a while. Still, I'd definitely be interested in checking those out when I have a bit more free time.

Anyone who is interested in mind over matter should check out Dr. Sarno's work - http://www.amazon.com/The-Mindbody-Prescription-Healing-Body... Similar to the vomiting poster, I had/have a longtime chronic nerve

Oh wired, do you really think we care that much about reading your articles? Forbes did the same thing, and I just stopped reading forbes articles when they blocked me. It's a tough spot to be in for all these companies - they need to

True, but is this article really directed to poor kids in Bolivia? Maybe if you're a poor teenager in a developing country, you should focus on saving your money rather than blowing it on a cell phone and data plan.

Thank you for adding some sanity here. If someone's that obsessed with battery life, they can always delete all the apps off the phone and stay in airplane mode unless making a call. But then again, some people like to actually use the

If that's the case, then that's actually kind of charming and I totally support that.

'Smoking' would contribute to cancer. Vaping and eating it would not. And while not completely benign, it's not even close to as harmful as tobacco is. I'd recommend doing some research instead of basing your opinions on

It looked pretty strange for me as well. Who knows though... Maybe it's a bold new, modern art type of design.

This was actually a really fascinating article. It was cool to read what it's like when you finally hit it big. I have a lot of respect for your negotiating as well. It's hard enough keeping that up during the interview process fo

Unfortunately that's a major deal breaker for using this for any professional project. Making things accessible isn't really that hard, and it makes the lives of people who need it much easier. It's a shame it's not more

I think a lot of times people tend to over-exaggerate when using terms like 'masterpiece', but in this case it's warranted. The puzzles and gameplay are brilliant, and then when you discover what the story is actually about i

Question - how did you collect benefits for so long? The two times I was able to collect, the max was 6 months. I agree with you 100%. The time I spent on unemployment was very spiritually fulfilling and really helped with my career. I got

You can, but you shouldn't. I hate to use the term slippery slope, but it's crazy to me that they still do this. You could easily apply to same logic to race and prison statistics and how officers treat who they're dealing wi

Yea I've been on the fence about trying that out, especially since it's missing some key features (reporting, the calculator). At least YNAB4 is supported til the end of 2016, gives them time to get the new one fixed up.

I couldn't agree more - I tried mint for a while and I basically did nothing with it besides checking my transactions. YNAB completely changed how I view my money. Now when I go to buy something, I don't just go spend. I see how m

Depends on the project. If I'm on an intense project, easily 7-8. If I'm not on a project, maybe 1-3. If I'm unemployed and left to my own devices (pursuing projects/freelance or furthering my education), probably 4-5.

While I completely get where you're coming from, realistically this can be very messy. You'd quickly find that an increasing number of your support calls were from those users having issues. 15% doesn't sound like a lot, but

The service is $100 an hour, which is bananas, but I guess that's not too surprising when their target customer is someone who casually buys two iPad pros like a normal person buys packs of gum.

While that's a fair point, I would say that you always have a choice to make. 3 years ago I was doing customer service, driving an hour both ways, and getting paid a very mediocre salary. I wasn't happy, so I taught myself to code

I think a good way to handle that is to ask them what they want to end up building. Want to make Android apps? Java. Want to make the front end part of web pages? HTML, CSS, JS with some preprocessors and libraries. Want to work on the back
