How is it better? Cloudflare offers everything they do. It's cloudflare's core business and I don't have to deal with Google's tiny attention span.

The market and tech is in a completely different position to what it was back then. Xilinx is well ahead of Altera. Xilinx already is extremely profitable in it's current markets already. Xilinx and AMD provide extreme supply overlap,

I feel people have underestimated how potentially impactful the AMD/XLNX merger can be. AMD now has a complete stack to compete in the DCG. They have bespoke accelerators, storage, FPGA, CPU (x86, ARM), (lowest latency) smartNICs and G

I'm quite happy with it. Never really felt any problems with performance, theming works, and more confinement > no confinement. Guess what, it's 2020, it would be nice to have some restrictions for what rogue desktop apps can a

Reddit ipv6 was enabled before Christmas but got disabled because of issues with the Android app and square’s okhttp lib I think. Namely that it didn’t support happy eyeballs.

Uhh this is a very much western view who already benefits from disproportionate allocations of ipv4 addresses. For developing countries where such equipment can be costly and unscalable it does matter.

Maybe because reality has proven that people don't know what they are doing. E.G. The anti-vaccers, anti-climate change supporters that Facebook eagerly monetizes. Maybe we can actually get vaccination numbers up in the EU if these idi

It's a chicken and egg problem. VR tech isn't taking off cause there isn't enough market share to justify having great games for it. To get that level of market share a company basically needs to subsidize the initial hardwar

We have vaccines now, we aren't in the same situation as the beginning of the pandemic. The purpose of the lockdown wasn't to prevent deaths, it was to prevent the hospital systems collapsing.
