Why is cloudflare blogging this? It doesn’t add any more information than the original article and seems tangentially related to their infra other than they are patching systems with the microcode update.

I have pinned them, I have patched them, I have written versions of them including Thunderbird and Firefox along with my own theming ones. I know the reasons why canonical only keeps one store and it seems rather sane to me. Especially afte

Ms makes Windows. By using the OS you already trust them with your data. Why bother with a 3rd party here? If you don’t trust MS Defender, you should be using Linux instead.

It isn't just linux namespaces, you have mounted namespaces, cgroups, seccomp filters etc... From what I remember it certainly isn't as simple as you present it and additional features tends to involve additional surface area. Oth

That cost will continuously rise up until migration to ipv6 comes out cheaper and enables access to the developing market as well. At which point it is a business no brainer.

Compared with the alternatives which don't support extensions at all? What is your point? They did it for technical reasons, and one of the first extensions to be supported was ublock origin.

Sure, but a pi consumes about 3.5W of energy and can run 24/7/365. There are alternatives, but most other solutions will end up costing more in electricity costs. Especially problematic in say Europe right now.

Why run this on other people's infrastructure or on the edge? For 8 quid a year, I own my own cloudflare domain which I can use for DDNS purposes. I run this on top of wireguard, and now I have a globally accessible VPN which I can use

Limiting the growth of an economy (i.e. construction of houses, loans to new businesses) because not enough gold has been mined is silly.

So the current plan 2 loans are about 15k per year of study. So for a typical 4 year course, that is about 60k worth of loans. If you take a 6 year medical course, you are on your own for the 2 extra years at least from a maintenance grant

The real loss here has been the AV referendum in 2011. It blows my mind how dense the electorate was for keeping the FPTP system. Now the Tories have realized that they can spew bullshit lies and win an election with minimal consequences. T

I think I would argue the decentralized aspect has also failed. Because of limited throughput (350k per day), most transact via exchanges and off chain. Some what 90+% of coins are owned by a ridiculously small volume of wallets, with most

This casually ignores the point being made. Tether is a fuel. USDT printed money without backing and pumped it into exchanges/btc/eth. Without that upward pressure, there will be nothing preventing btc/eth from freefalling. H
