One of the more interesting was that people who have had lots (5 or more) partners had tended towards 'unpopular' partners (zero or 1 other partners). It looks like most of the vertices here have degree 1 or 2. Do those adjacent to vertic

Almost every place I've lived in the US construction does occur 24 hours, but maybe not 7. Commute and daily traffic require it. Maybe you're just not out 24/7 to see it? There have been a lot of places/projects where all I ever saw were

A lot of public SMP servers I've been on had anti-griefing mods that seem prone to breaking on updates. Combine that with removal of the paywall and (from what I hear) username validation, and there is a lot more potential for disaster.

Might be enough to get me back into SMP. I haven't played in a few updates, but I usually get intimidated by a long-running server that already has a lot of large scale construction projects finished (not to mention frustrated at trying to

May I be slightly selfish, and ask a question to all of you who have a CS degree? Did you learn programming as part of your CS education? Regardless, what's you opinion about the way programming was taught? By the time I started taking cl

When I was 5, my father taught me to program in BASIC on the family's Apple IIe. This kept me entertained through elementary school and into middle school. I remember trying to learn C in junior high, but none of the tutorials I found were

The H1-B thing seems like a bit of a non-sequitur to me. I thought H1-B was for getting hired to a specific position (i.e. not for founders)?

What makes you think spacing them out will improve her reactions to them? The thinking probably goes something like, "If A and B each individually cause severe symptoms, A and B combined will probably be worse." This accurately describes

Over a long time, perhaps, but probably not quickly. Getting bigger requires more than just attracting more applicants. It also requires hiring more faculty and staff and expanding facilities (which itself eventually requires taking up more

If "student" only takes you 15-20 hours per week, most probably wouldn't consider it "full-time." When I was in undergrad, spending 15-20 hours per week on school would mean about 0 hours spent studying.

Your reasoning doesn't work if the language in question really doesn't have a word for 'left' or 'right'. An explanation as to why an argument isn't a proof doesn't "not work" simply because the statement being argued happens to be true.

I'm only about halfway through it, but it does seem like a decent intro to the math and CS concepts that will be needed for more advanced material. A CS degree program isn't all senior-level coursework.
