I no longer have any nonstick or cast iron. I almost never manage to clean my cast iron pan in 30 seconds; it’s more like 3–4 minutes. Stainless steel is all I use now. It goes in the dishwasher, so literally two seconds to put it in and tw

I don’t really fully trust people’s opinions unless they have first-hand experience. So I would trust someone who has tried the thing and found it to be bad idea, much more than someone who hasn’t tried it and is merely repeating common tro

Nice that you allowed readers to customize the parameters! I personally thought the demand demand elasticity was too low and I was able to adjust it.

Just go to /config. The very second configuration item is “Switch models when a message is flagged” and presumably you want to turn this off. Oh but then you said you never pay Anthropic so you haven’t actually used Claude Code yet. Wh

Same. I like the Fable version better. Better colors, better choice of font sizes, better column sizing. Also small things like the “Experience” section header being orange rather than gray, which Fable got right and Opus got wrong. It seem

I don’t even mind forges taking a stance on AI. That’s fine. But I agree with Armin Ronacher here: banning projects that “mostly consist of code written by generative AI tools” is like the infamous Supreme Court “I know it when I see it” li

I think the explosion in the popularity of Lean probably means that tactic-based proofs have won. I wrote many proofs in college and on mere aesthetic grounds I avoided the use of theorem provers with tactics. Invoking a tactic is like call

I respectfully disagree. Single-person projects that are not commercially motivated always have the risk of abandonment, regardless of how polished they seem. Depending on the problem itself, I could very well get bored after 8 minutes of e

Nah. I made plenty of software and then abandoned them because I lost interest in them. My GitHub is already a fairly large collection of my own abandoned software, and there are 10x more on my PC that I never bothered to upload to GitHub.

The New York Times is actually part of the reason why Google’s reputation went downhill. Somewhere around 2010–2015, the NYT and other traditional newspapers finally woke up and realized that their traditional job of disseminating informati

National parks in California are indeed amazing. One time during a group trip to Death Valley, people were so amazed by the night sky that half decided to sleep outside the tents just to experience falling asleep while looking at the stars.

Bun does not have its own JIT compiler. Bun uses JSC made by Apple. So your blame should be directed to Apple. And I can believe you because I’ve seen JavaScript-heavy Safari tabs crash.
