I contributed to port a new microcontroller, which includes writing device (peripheral) drivers. It was pretty much about their coding standards. I had that experience because I was contributing for mainline branch. They think avoiding abst

How's your experience with writing device drivers for NuttX? Is it easy to attach manufacture's device libraries? The biggest reason that I stick to FreeRTOS is the fear of writing device drivers from scratch for a big RTOS like N

I personally only used FreeRTOS but NuttX always looks cool to me. There are few open-source RTOS for microcontrollers that supports the wide range of POSIX and VFS. A notable use case is PX4 Drone Autopilot [1], one of the most successful

I'm not an expert but it won't have difference in that case I guess. The current Korea's 5G is deployed at 3.5GHz whereas 4G is usually at 1.8GHz in Korea, so it would have shorter ranges or the technologies is not mature yet

They say currently around 10% of the estimated total number of 5G base stations to cover countrywide installed. So it only works in Seoul, the capital city in Korea. They estimate 5G will cover the whole country in 2023. FYI, because of its

Thx for your opinion. What about automatic ARM-Thumb swap on jump instructions? I tried Radare 2 before and it was so hard to work with ARM firmware. If Ghidra supports a proper ARM-Thumb switch, it sounds like a greate alternative to IDA f

How is the experience with Ghidra so far? Does anyone think a true free IDA Pro replacement finally come? I did some reverse engineering for ARM devices last year, and IDA Pro seemed like the only option but it costs around $1000.

I'm not sure how that matters. It is still JS, it can run on any JS engine even without transpiling. I just wanted to know the exact performance difference between the two different compiled outputs.
