Actually, it is an X/Motif program, by Bob Deen in 1994 (according to https://www-mipl.jpl.nasa.gov/vicar_os/v1.0/vicar-docs/VICAR... ), and remains in use.

Hey, you can access the PunyForth over a TCP session (as implemented here: https://github.com/zeroflag/punyforth/blob/master/arch/esp82... ). Not sure what you mean with "persistence", you
