You're lucky. I use Asana for my personal tasks at work and I wish we all used it, but the PHBs want burn-down charts and such so we officially use Jira.

To clarify, Timely and Bigtop are code names for the next versions of Google Calendar and Gmail? I hadn't heard of these. Can you give any more info?

This is intellectually lazy reasoning. The existence of people who believe something does not make what they believe true. Realize that the two statements: "Here in the south we [often] use [...] 3000 year old Judean religious texts wh

If you're going to try to invalidate what I wrote by "people disagree" then justify from the text where it says that drugs should be illegal and punishable by imprisonment.

What's the best Bitcoin exchange to buy with? In the early days I stayed away because a lot of the exchanges seemed to have really poor security, but it looks like it may be time to invest somewhere.

Relevant: http://www.joelonsoftware.com/articles/APIWar.html See the parts about backwards compatibility. I'll grant that Microsoft isn't as fanatical about backwards compatibility as they used to be.

The QA failure most shocking to me lately is that on 10.8.5 on their newest MacBook Airs, Apple forgot some file necessary to use the video camera in 32 bit mode and therefore broke Skype. Microsoft, for all their faults, is notorious for h

Thanks for those benchmarks! You get a big boost by using multiple Puma workers on MRI. Under Rubinius you should be able to only use one Puma worker for max performance, right? I'd love to see benchmarks with Rubinius... ;)

I'm also surprised at the dislike for Groovy. When I looked at it, it seemed to be roughly on par with Python or Ruby, with some nice features unique to Groovy. Of course, there's the limitation that it only runs on the JVM. Maybe
