Not exactly news, but it's a good piece of software that has followed my MacBook Pro 2008 for a couple of years. Without this application, you have to log out and in again in order to switch graphics cards on the 2008 models. No longer.

Sorry, but I would never use this, nor recommend it to anybody. You make it sound like you left out features, because you wanted to keep it simple, but that really just comes off as you being lazy. RSS could be implemented, without the user

I agree. The lack of RSS is inexcusable. RSS feeds can easily be implemented without the using know they're there.

So you mounted a hard drive and copied some folders from the command line. Big deal. Besides, if you could mount the drive without using any password, it doesn't seem like it was encrypted at all.

Your example would return true if just the first character was alike. And no, that's not how it works. PHP converts strings that look like numbers into floats and compares afterwards.
