Analog circuit design is very very secretive because the semiconductor industry is so cutthroat. I would definitely get fired if I posted about any of my design work on a blog. And to be fair, anything specific enough to be interesting coul

Very cool but a far cry from an actually usable open source hardware receiver. Implementing the RF front end is not at all trivial and highly dependent on the manufacturing process, which is probably why they didn't release one. There&

EE here. I agree with most of your guesses as far as layout goes. There are definitely some diodes in there - the devices with a more square aspect ratio and large square contacts in the middle. The large power transistors are laid out in m

Nothing as fancy as calculations. If you look at the datasheet, there is an Enable pin as well as a clock input and open drain debug output. There's also an internal oscillator. The standard cells are probably used for those features,

Ah. Yes its not very intuitive. I would personally have used a "+". But I think the bigger issue that makes it unintuitive is that the cursor CSS is set on the entire <p> tag of the condensed JSON, but the click event is onl

Right now the Headers column is essentially useless because the json renderer doesn't seem to want to display beyond one level of depth so you just see "[{...},{...},etc]". Can you make this more usable? Maybe add some kind o

I reached a pretty similar conclusion investigating OFX to add support to Firefly III. I think best case scenario would be to setup OFX connections to the institutions that require the user to enter credentials and manually refresh data. Un

I'm always hesitant to use any of these services because (AFAIK) they need to store your banking credentials in order to access your account. The one exception I've found to this is Chase, which actually has an API. But even with

If you don't mind me asking, how do you implement the visual diff? Is it just based on a diff of cad files? Are they just text? Or do you have to use gerbers?

I agree that Nuvia doesn't compete with Apple but Qualcomm is actually a rival of Intel now because of their 8cx platform that's going into ultrabooks.
