Congrats! I've used codeship for awhile now. Was sad to see the live chat/help go.

I’ve never heard of a background check for an elected representative. It is a bit strange that someone who can’t vote (a felon) could be elected and then vote on our behalf.

It isn't only used in America, but I would agree that it is predominantly known for that. Usage of the word appears to be increasing. It fulfills a role in the English language that no other word seems to hit as easily. It'd be ni

Y’all is a pretty useful word. Is using you’re or they’ll tacky as well? It might be that you have a subconscious cultural bias against the word.

These large companies could afford to move off of React if they had to. Smaller companies could be severely impacted by having to move a core product off of React quickly. I don't know why people are using Google as an example of it be

Reddit links via Google search results were broken for months on my iPhone because of AMP. How many other users had the same issue and no idea what was going on?

I don't think usage implies some sort of favorable opinion. They don't really have a choice. Many people may not even realize what is happening.

If the community is actively asking them to change it, then how is it being nice? At least offer a dual licensing scheme.

The fact that we even have to have this discussion is a reason not to use it. I'd have to a hire a lawyer and disclose it to my investors to be cleared up. It would cost us money to validate because it does something different compared

If all situations are equal, why do they need the protection anyways? This is out of step with every other comparable library / framework / whatever.

Investors seem to be really fond of patentable or protectable technology. Lets say a start up comes up with a really clever and novel way to accurately predict what kind of a cake a person likes best. If they built a platform in React and t

On iOS I usually find AMP pages to be less usable. It forces a bar at the top and I can't easily share the link. Sometimes sites don't seem to work at all. For a long time any Reddit link on the Google Search results just didn

What about security concerns? I assume self driving cars could be made to remotely shut down or report tampering. With high profile terrorist attacks using vehicles it will become attractive for safety.
