Maybe a better approach would be to purify it by chemically dissolving the old glass in eg sodium hydroxide and reprecipitating it out. I'm sure people have tried that though and it doesn't work for some reason.

Shouldn't that be surprising? Christianity has the same rules around pornography so predominantly Christian countries would block it for the same reason. Or perhaps there are no predominantly Christian countries anymore.

Handing a third party company what is essentially a kernel level shell on all your equipment is absolutely insane. I bought Cloudflare stock after this because it's obvious to me their customers aren't really thinking.
