Speculation, but it would probably depend who was leading the government then and also whether all existing European law had been re-implemented into UK law as part of the process to leave.

I'd also recommend giving Code Academy a try in the first instance. It's free, there's no set up on your computer needed (it's all done through their website) and it guides you through. It's how I started learning w

I'd also recommend reading the power of habit (I posted my own comment but then deleted when I saw this). It talks through studies where people have broken bad habits through creating new ones.

I definitely agree that it's a skill to be learnt and it's something I enjoy. Is it really useful to do it all the time though? Like there must sometimes be edge cases where people will achieve more alone, e.g. if it's someth

This approach assumes people don't know how they work best so imposes a structure on them that limits the hours worked, makes sure people are fed etc. I would have thought developers are more likely to have put a lot of thought into ho

It's really smooth, I checked to see if it was built in React given the speed. On the same lines as the comment above, London and London Borough of Camden are listed separately too. Edit: And you're printing some arrays into the b

I think you're talking about Metro bank? I know they're literally on the high street but they're meant to be a bit more innovative/useful when you actually go into a branch. I normally use the phrase 'High Street ba

That might depend on the city but in London I've found a black cab is normally a minimum 30% more than an uber. For longer journeys it can jump to double the price. Uber surge could equalise it.

It's interesting hearing Reid Hoffmann talking about the importance of your network, the way he references people and gets referrals etc. He doesn't mention using Linkedin as a tool to do this. All email and phone. I wouldn't

I've been using React for my last few projects (not by choice) and have found this a lot. Maybe because its newer, maybe because it doesn't play nice with other front-end things. SO rage indeed.

I think if users paid to use social networks then those networks wouldn't have to sell ad data to make revenue. It makes sense that when Facebook, LinkedIn et. al were set up social networks were something new so people wouldn't u

I read that phrase as meaning the degrees of connection feature is a way to stop users receiving unsolicited messages, something which contributes to the reverse network effects the author talks about. Having the paid, 'message indiscr
